Concert Dress

On Sunday I had such an amazing night as I went to go and see Ed Sheeran! He was absolutly incredible!! Me being me I have the same trouble deciding what to wear to concerts as I do for most places! All of the questions go around in my head; do I dress up? What will everyone else be wearing? So after raiding my wardrobe for a long long time I finally made an outfit!!

London!

I have had the busiest weekend of my life! I finished school for half term on the Thursday and then I stayed at my friend Emma's house as we were going to London the next day! On the Friday, when we got there we went to Madame Tussuads, which was amazing (some of the wax models looked so realistic!) and I had my picture with Usain Bolt, Pablo Picasso, Leonardo DiCaprio, the Dalai Lama and so many more! Then we got the tube and went to our hotel for the night where from our window you could the Olympic Park which was amazing as I wasn't lucky enough to go to the Olympics! After we had put all of our stuff down and had a rest we went to the Westfield shopping centre which was right by our hotel! Then on the Saturday we went to go and see the new James Bond film Skyfall which was amazing! Then after this we went to my dream university, Central Saint Martins, which is where I will be hoping to go in 2 years time! Here are some photos of my visit to London!
All of the clothes I bought you will be seeing very soon as I will be doing outfit posts on them!

Enjoy the photos!

Chester Races - Ladies Day!

On the 1st September 2012 my dad, step-mum, step-sister, my sister and I went to Ladies Day at Chester Races! It was really good to see all of the horses and bet on the races and of course looking at all of the outfits! Every few minutes I would say to my sister 'oh she looks nice! Everyone looked so glamerous and I was so lucky to be able to go!
Anyway what did I wear? Well I wore a yellow dress from Topshop, which I bought last year for a wedding that was in Sri Lanka, a black fascinator, which was. The one that I wore for my dads wedding, and some plain black mid heels from New Look which were only £24.99!

And this is all of us in the Champagne Tent
I had a really good day and I would definitely reccommend it!

In Loving Memory.

Anita Jones, a loving wife, mother, friend and to me a wonderful Nan! Anita or to me Nanny passed away on Thursday 12th July 2012. This post is dedicated to her and her wonderful style.
In these pictures my Nanny is in her early 20's and so the pictures would be taken around 1958. She was a very stylish woman as you will see.
This first picture is my Nan on her honeymoon in London.

Then here she is as a bridesmaid in 1959. I really love her hat that she is wearing in this picture and also her beautiful dress.

Here she is with my Grandad.

This is them on their wedding day. She looks absolutely beautiful!

Her and all of her friends

I think that she looks like a film star in her shades!

She was a wonderful woman and an even better Nan. During her 20's she was one of the most stylish women!

I hope that you have enjoyed just looking at a few old photos!

I'm back!

Ahhh it feels soooo good to be back after such a long time! In the time that I haven't been blogging some major things have happened! An extremely sad loss in my family, my nan sadly passed away 2 weeks ago so my next post is dedicated to her, I have finished school for summer and I have also moved house! As I have moved house I thought that I would show you all my new room! I call it my palace as it is like a palace!

First of all here is my blogging station with some wonderful fashion books by it. We unfortunately won't have any internet for the next 4 weeks as all of the engineers are in London for the Olympics. I will do my best and try and get as many posts as I can up as my Grandad has internet at his house! Good old Grandparents!
Next here is my vintage style dressing table. I got it from a used furniture store near where I live for only £40! If any of you watch Gossip Girl then you may have noticed that the lamps on my dressing table are very similar to the ones that she has in her room, I got very excited when I saw them! I also have a cake stand on there which is great for holding jewellery especially bracelets! I also have two parasols one which is about 40 years old which was my mums which is the brown one and then the pink one is one that I bought last year.
Here is my newest creation my window seat!

Ahh my Vogues and fashion books, my pride and joy!

Then here is the most AMAZING and my favourite part of my room... my wardrobe! This is only about a quarter of it...

Well there you have it my new room. Do you see why I call it my palace now?

A Day in London!

I can't believe that it was the 6th of June last time I did a post! In all the weeks that I haven't been blogging  I have done so much and its been a packed few weeks that I have barely have had time to sit down! Anyway last weekend I had an amazing time in London where I finally went to the Ballgowns exhibition at the V&A (you can expect a post from me on that but unfortunately I wasn't allowed to take any pictures but there were some amazing dresses there!). After we went to the V&A we spent the rest of the day shopping in Oxford Street! It was such a good day and I bought so much that at the end of the day my arms felt like they were going to drop off!
Come back soon as you can expect many more posts from me as I only have a week and a bit left at school so all of my time can be focused on fashion!!! YAYYY

Style Icon No.1

Audrey Hepburn
"Elegance is the only beauty that never fades."
Audrey Hepburn
Breakfast at Tiffany's

Audrey Hepburn
Sabrina
This is my all time favourite dress! Hopefully over the summer I will attempt at making this and I will let you all know how I go on! I think it might be a total disaster, but ahhh well its worth a try right?

Audrey Hepburn
Funny Face

Audrey Hepburn's style was very simple and beautiful. She loved simple cuts with clean lines and clothes which emphasized her tall and slim figure. Audrey Hepburn made the little black dress famous, she wore a Givenchy creation that she wore in Breakfast at Tiffiny's is the most famous dress that she wore and is always associated with her when people think of Audrey Hepburn. Her grace and style will be remembered for centuries to come. Each month I will share with you some more of my favourite style icons they may not be in order but Audrey is definitely my all time favourite!

Green Stripes

Over the past few weeks (as you may have noticed if you are a regular reader) I haven't been posting very much on my blog, but now that is all going to change, I promise to update my blog as often as I can and keep you all informed on my fashion related events including my trip to London in a few weeks to see the Ballgowns exhibition at the V&A and also to watch my sister have a personal shopper experience at Topshop for her birthday while I stand there and look very jealous! Anyway I have been dying to show off my new shorts from Topshop which don't just come in green but there is a variety of different colours!

See you all soon :)

Sri Lanka

As you may have noticed I haven't been posting much recently on my blog. Sadly it has been exam week and I have been super busy all the time! As I haven't been able to take many photos recently I thought that I would share with you some of the picture of my holiday to Sri Lanka!
