Anita Jones, a loving wife, mother, friend and to me a wonderful Nan! Anita or to me Nanny passed away on Thursday 12th July 2012. This post is dedicated to her and her wonderful style.
In these pictures my Nanny is in her early 20's and so the pictures would be taken around 1958. She was a very stylish woman as you will see.
This first picture is my Nan on her honeymoon in London.
Then here she is as a bridesmaid in 1959. I really love her hat that she is wearing in this picture and also her beautiful dress.
Here she is with my Grandad.
This is them on their wedding day. She looks absolutely beautiful!
Her and all of her friends
I think that she looks like a film star in her shades!
She was a wonderful woman and an even better Nan. During her 20's she was one of the most stylish women!
I hope that you have enjoyed just looking at a few old photos!
Lots of Love

I'm back!
Ahhh it feels soooo good to be back after such a long time! In the time that I haven't been blogging some major things have happened! An extremely sad loss in my family, my nan sadly passed away 2 weeks ago so my next post is dedicated to her, I have finished school for summer and I have also moved house! As I have moved house I thought that I would show you all my new room! I call it my palace as it is like a palace!
First of all here is my blogging station with some wonderful fashion books by it. We unfortunately won't have any internet for the next 4 weeks as all of the engineers are in London for the Olympics. I will do my best and try and get as many posts as I can up as my Grandad has internet at his house! Good old Grandparents!
Next here is my vintage style dressing table. I got it from a used furniture store near where I live for only £40! If any of you watch Gossip Girl then you may have noticed that the lamps on my dressing table are very similar to the ones that she has in her room, I got very excited when I saw them! I also have a cake stand on there which is great for holding jewellery especially bracelets! I also have two parasols one which is about 40 years old which was my mums which is the brown one and then the pink one is one that I bought last year.
Here is my newest creation my window seat!
Ahh my Vogues and fashion books, my pride and joy!
Then here is the most AMAZING and my favourite part of my room... my wardrobe! This is only about a quarter of it...
Lots of Love

A Day in London!
I can't believe that it was the 6th of June last time I did a post! In all the weeks that I haven't been blogging I have done so much and its been a packed few weeks that I have barely have had time to sit down! Anyway last weekend I had an amazing time in London where I finally went to the Ballgowns exhibition at the V&A (you can expect a post from me on that but unfortunately I wasn't allowed to take any pictures but there were some amazing dresses there!). After we went to the V&A we spent the rest of the day shopping in Oxford Street! It was such a good day and I bought so much that at the end of the day my arms felt like they were going to drop off!
Come back soon as you can expect many more posts from me as I only have a week and a bit left at school so all of my time can be focused on fashion!!! YAYYY
